Jaiveer Singh is an Counsellor &
Metadata Librarian, Blogger, and Online Social Media Expert. He is a
contributor to articles on Library and Information Science in Wikipedia. Coming from a Life Science background,Jaiveer Singh manane and
organise various Libraries as Management Libraries of Rohilkhand Region Bareilly.
Jaiveer Singh is a passionate blogger and writer on Library and Information
Science. He is the creator of four websites and Blogs on INFOLIBRA APS(Academics
Problem Solution) . He has created Jaiveersingh LISA, INFOLIBRARY (Librarians Guide) Blog, Jaiveersinghh.wordpress.com, pgielibrary.weebly.com and his personal blog Jaiveersingh to help himself in his professional
responsibilities of cataloging of documents in various formats and keeping
with latest developments on INFOLIBRA APS, librarianship & information
technology, and library & knowledge organization and management. Jaiveer
Singh also provide Library Automation Project through CDS/ISIS for window and
Library Manager Library Management Software.
Jaiveer Singh Graduated in Life Science (B.Sc.) with Zoology Botany
and,Chemistry from MJP Rohilkhand
University Bareilly and completed his Master
of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Jiwaji University Gwalior
(M.P.) with a First Class and
M.Phil. from Algappa University
Karaikudi Tamilnadu, with a First
Class.
Few people dream of becoming librarians when they are
little, and he was one of the ones who did. He has the experience of working in
some of the biggest, finest, and modern libraries on very responsible
positions. Prior to his present job as Librarian and Counsellor, he worked as Librarian at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Managementand Technology (Bareilly), and as a Counsellor at Rajarshi Tandon Open University Allahabad Study Center (code : S - 24) Bareilly College Bareilly.
Jaiveer Singh loves, Library and
Information Sciences. He has devoted his entire life to this field. He is
working with a vision of creating a platform of knowledge which is like
the Encyclopedia Britannica, The Huffington Post, the Khan Academy, and more closely like the Encyclopedia of Library and Information Sciences; an authoritative source for consultation and reference
for any library or information profession related issue and a treasure hub of
knowledge on Library and Information Science, which is open and free
for all the library professionals
